Hey all,

I'm looking to add a front grill guard to our '22 with the Mopar steel bumper and factory front camera. Does anyone have any of the below and the cam? I'd appreciate input as to what the hoop looks like in the camera view. I imagine the Mopar hoop, being so short, doesn't appear in the camera. But it's too low for my taste.

Thanks!

Did you get an answer? I want to add a grill guard but don’t want to block the camera view.

Never did get an answer. But I figured out approximately how tall the various options were. Then I had my son hold a PVC pipe in front of the camera where the bar would be. I ended up choosing the Warn low rise. Since it's a gift I've yet to install it.

No idea about camera blockage, but the Warn low, JCR and Grimm all look to be pretty close in height. American Trail Products also makes one that's around the same height as those three..

Been debating between those 4 for months, but ultimately decided on the Mopar triple hoop, which seems just a bit shorter, but not nearly as low as the original Mopar guard (still gotta find a T45 torx bit and some nicer weather).

Thanks guys. If my PVC pipe method is at all accurate, the Warn low one will be good enough in the camera view. I'll post a pic once I get it installed. Gotta have the wife open it on Christmas Day first (it's for her Jeep)

I look forward to hearing if the warm low version works. Thanks

Or, you could get the hoop you really want and mount the camera with one of these Mopar light bracket and have Zero obstruction.

I have the Warn mid height, but no camera to show you how obstructive if would be.

Did you have a chance to install it?

Yes, sorry for the delay. Here is what it looks like through the camera. It obstructs a little bit of the lower part of the view, but it doesn't seem too bad, and I don't think the smaller/lower Mopar bar would save much of the view.

Not my Jeep but a picture I keep for reference. It’s the Mopar triple hoop with LP4’s installed. So it must have a touch more room under it than the Maximus triple hoop option to use those outer holes on the bumper.
