Someone in a thread asked about seeing these wheels with larger tires. I just added 285/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers to my wife’s sport. Not sure if this is what was wanted but figured I would share in case others are considering these wheels.

This is with no lift on the factory sport suspension. No rubbing but I’ve not taken it off road. I have a rubicon take off suspension in bound which should add 1” to 1.5” lift though.

Thanks. I think they are quieter than those factory Goodyear’s were. Handling is good and I really like them. I went with the load range C version.

And PS this is my wife’s Jeep. She loves the new tires too :)

You need to find someone who put a lift on their Rubicon ad buy their springs and shocks from the Rubicon and you will get about 1 inch or 2 and you can probably run 35s or at least have more wheel well. i will be selling my in about 8 to 10 weeks

Have a full Rubi suspension sitting in my garage waiting to get put on. Just not in a hurry until our front bumper gets here. ;)

That looks very clean. I was going back and forth whether or not to upgrade my wheels when I went with bigger tires. I love the granite wheels I have but was unsure if they were too narrow for running 285's. I think this changes my mind about keeping them!

Did you had any issues putting the spare? I have read that some people had issues putting the spare coz of the backup camera.
