Three weeks in with this one and already clocked two off road trips, Tahoe and now Hollister

Nice! I found that after each wheeling trip my love and appreciation of my Jeep increased.

Ohh yeah, 100%, this is my second jeep, but first time i've ever had doors off. I've taken them off three times now. I fall in love with it every time

Also planning a 2500 mile trip in September across a week or so, and so stoked for it. I cannot wait for Moab

That looks like fun!

Moab is like nothing else. Get the Wells' book if don't already have it.

Time to get some wheels and tires for my Granite Crystal JLU Sport. I can't decide between charcoal/grey wheels or black wheels. Also, tires. I want mean looking tires but admittedly spend much more time on asphalt than dirt. Any suggestions for rims and tires are welcomed. Thanks!

I am considering a mopar 2” lift on my unlimited. How is your ride? Do you feel it was worth the extra $$?

It actually rides really good, nearly as good as factory, and extremely comfortable on a road trip. I feel like it was worth it for me.

I purchased the lift for roughly $1100, and installed the lift myself. I forgot to mention I also have a fox steering stabilizer and a synergy sector shaft brace, which also help.

Thanks so much for the info. I’m just now looking to customize mine a bit and feel like I am second guessing everything! Have you had any problem with pulling? See quite a few posts about the fox stabilizer having issues pulling to the right. I Went through a scary death wobble on the highway going 75 mph AFTER the recall work was done. Got a new track bar installed and haven’t had any problems since. If mine is mostly add and I put her in the sand a few times a year in the OBX do you feel the stabilizer and shaft brace would be needed?

If you aren’t running big tires and beating it off road then no.. added price of mind yes.. the sector shaft brace is a big help with the thin wall frame. But it does creak FYI
