I'm getting close to placing an order on a JLU Sahara and am going back and forth on Granite Crystal or Black.

My original plan was always to go with Granite but for some reason I'm having second thoughts and considering Black.

Here's a sort of odd question for you owners. Does granite look considerably different when it's clean? I've been sort of underwhelmed when seeing it in person but have seen it in the past and in some pictures where it looks incredible. Does the metallic nature of the paint just not shine through unless it's freshly washed?

We tend to have either grey metallic or black vehicles. I also considered black but ultimately went with the granite and that was the right choice for me. It is a process,..let it play out and pretty sure you will choose the color that works out best for you. Hope you are not buying from one of the local dealers -- they are truly awful in the triangle.

After tint it really looks good, The only complaint I have is some of the parts color dont match because there painted at different plants and assembled at one.

Well Rusty got some more battle scars today.. My suspension components can get here soon enough so I don't have to drag it over everything. This jeep in stock for is so incredibly capable it blows my mind. I did rip the body mount weld.. Sooo i'l be fixing that and making my sliders this week.

After placing an order for a JLUR with the 2.0 Turbo and going through that whole fiasco we located a 3.6 Rubicon 60 miles away last week. It had everything we wanted minus the dual top group (and the Turbo) so it came home to live with my LJ Rubicon.

It was 70 and sunny here today so the top came off and we found some farm roads to get lost on with the kids. This is the wife's daily driver and she's in love (I may be too but don't tell my LJ......)

Well mine arrived at the dealership, just waiting on inspections and installs. Heading to the beach this weekend so hopefully can pick it up before and head to the beach. Ironically Jeep chat told me "in transit" with no ETA and sitting at the plant waiting for others to fill the shipment car, the next morning I got this from my dealership. lol
