You can get those wheels for next to nothing as takeoffs. 18inch sahara wheels are not that popular, given most people here prefer smaller wheels and bigger tires. So you are in luck.

Dont forget the bigger brakes on the sahara.

Just a thought, would a Willys edition (adding technology) not also be a contender? You get the better brakes and a soft top. You could always add Sahara wheels through the aftermarket.

I'll post up what I'm 99.9% I'm going with! Going to be a:

2021 Sport S
Firecracker Red
Black Interior
Granite Wheels (Yeah, I know... nobody likes stock wheels... but I do. LOL)
Side Steps
Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top
8.4
Soft Top Window Storage Bag
Floor Mats
Tow
Manual Trans

I have to say, this forum is great!

Now... go ahead and tell me what I could be doing differently. :)

Have you driven a JL at night with halogens? It is personal preference, but LEDs are a great upgrade. You don’t have to do the OEM, but I would consider budgeting the idea.

If you’ve never seen the Armorlite floors, I’d save your money on the floor mats and throw it towards a set.

Not a big fan of the plastic side steps either, but if you like the look and won’t be off roading. Rubicon rails are everywhere if you want a slider look and the aftermarket has tons of awesome step options.

Budget a set of aftermarket LEDs as the other person mentioned.

LSD

gets you a dana 44 rear axle.

Take a look at aftermarket steps see if you like any better than the OEM ones.

I was trying to avoid the look/upcharge of LED heads when I was buying, but now that I have them I couldn't imagine driving without them. Much better visibility, especially when in the woods or on back roads. Since Pete^3 doesn't have to worry about snow buildup in FL, I'd second the recommendation.
