My dealer just reached out to me and said that Gorilla Glass is showing up as an available factory option code GMA with MSRP $95, he can select it on Sport models but not Rubicon, he's reached out to his REP to see why its not available for Rubicon yet.

Wow. Sounds like a good deal. IIRC, the Total w/install cost for gorilla glass windshield at dealership was like $800 for the JKs.

I can't imagine anybody not forking over $95 for that.
Yeah for sure, we are trying to get it added to my order but its not available on Rubicon for some reason

Rubicons will be getting Rhinoceros Glass. It has little spikes coming out from the glass that obliterate rocks before they can get to the glass. Wipers are replaced with little brooms...
Yeah, but are Rubicon drivers ACTUALLY going to go off road and obliterate rocks with the Rhino Glass, or just cruise around malls smacking pebbles?

Since Jeep is not into losing money on factory options, if it can offer that monkey glass stuff for $95 (which seems awfully low) then its costing Jeep at most $50.

So a dealership charging $800 is robbery even with labor.

Or, it's only costing them that much more than regular glass.

Back in 2019, Car and Driver listed the cost of gorilla glass for the Jeep Wrangler at “over $700”. With that in mind, $800 for a windshield with dealership install would be reasonable.

$95 on the order sheet is an absolute steal. The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced that has to be a typo. $950 maybe?

that's the price to upgrade from stock glass, not the parts counter retail price.

Man, $95 to upgrade to the gorilla glass is a no brainer. That'll pay for itself in no time.
