Holy guacamole! GG has gone from $95 when I ordered my XR in July to $495 in the latest order guide. At $95 it was a no-brainer. Don’t think I would have ordered it at five hundred.

It had already gone up to $195 when I placed my '21 order last September.
The POC on my '22 shows the $195.
I'll see if they jack it up before I take delivery.

Wow... I ordered it at $195 just because I figured it was cheap enough why not, now no way in hell I'd pay more than that at $495! Lots of mixed reviews on it anyways

I'd guess supply issues - when it was originally added to the order sheet last summer, adding it to your build delayed the build by at least 60 days, sometimes more.

Gorilla glass was never on my radar as I live in FL where insurance covers replacement cost 100%. However, I believe that FCA has increased the pricing on many options for the Wrangler and on the base vehicle prices too as of yesterday 1/17. I placed my order on 1/16 so am expecting to get a notice that the price went up since my order hasn’t even been accepted by FCA yet. .

STAY AWAY!!!! my GG split and cracked at 1,200 miles because it was cold and i put on the defroster.

Im getting it replaced next week free from warranty - but this only covers ONE replacement. I regret getting it, let alone for the $195 i paid last sept. - id pay another $195 to not have it.

It "says" it is... but there's been a lot of people on here with rock cracks in their windshields that would disagree.

My deductible is 50 bucks so could replace 4 windshields before covering GG! Now it really is over priced.
