Goose: My Adventure Rig **Update 10/2/22**

Hello if you like adventure and photography then stay tuned. I made this thread to show just that, I bought this 2018 JLU to take me anywhere I wanted to go to enjoy life. I’m not trying to make this into some crazy rock crawling rig nor a mall crawler.

How it all started…

So back in July of ‘21 my wife bought an ‘18 JLU. I borrowed it once and realized that I needed one for myself. So I literally got rid of 6 month old ‘20 Challenger Scatpack and never looked back. Funny enough my wife and I have matching Jeeps that we named Maverick and Goose.

Bone Stock

Modified the gap guard for the bumper, Installed the 1.5” Teraflex Lift, and swapped out the tires for 285/70R17 AT tires.

Then I was gifted some Rubicon wheels from a fellow member on here and then Traded another person for a brand new Mopar premium soft top.

After watching to many overland YouTube videos I decided I wanted an Outback Tailgater table and Oracle tailgate light.

I decided I wanted some Synergy 1.75” wheel spacers to have that stance.

I gifted my spacers to my wife and decided to buy new wheels (17 x 8.5 Procomp 34 Rockwells) that gave me the same stance.

Finally, I decided to build a foldable sleeping platform.

Thank you, it’s called a Roadie Overnighter and they are phenomenal if you like sleeping inside your Jeep. I will say if you do get one buy two so that you can have cross ventilation.

Do you ever wake up with moisture inside the vehicle and on your electronics, I.e. screen and controls, from moisture happening outside the vehicle?

If you run one you get light condensation on the roof and that’s it. Running two diagonal from each other I get zero.

Thank you! I used a couple different cameras. I have a 6DMkii with a 70-200 f2.8 IS III for animals that are sub 200 yards and I also use a Sony A6300 with a 70-350 for anything greater than 200 yards.

Those are REALLY nice setups. I'd love an f2.8 lens... That's one hobby that gives the Jeep a run for the money (literally).

I had to test out my new bed I made so Maxxis and I went on a little adventure.
