Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. Which load rating?

I want to purchase the Duratracs for my 2020 JLU Sahara. I'm not sure which spec to get (E, C, or S). Right now I'm thinking of getting the 275/65R18 116S. I don't have a lift and I don't plan on doing any major off-roading, just trails and beaches mainly. I also tow a small camper trailer that's about 2000 lbs. Will I be good with this particular spec or should I opt for the C rating? The options I have are:

275/65R18 116S
LT275/65R18 123/120Q E
LT275/65R18 113/110Q C

Any downside to getting the the first choice? I'm not sure of the other differences besides weight and load.

I believe the C rated tires are best for us since Wranglers, even 4 door, are light trucks. C rated tires are lighter and have softer more pliable sidewalls which all make for a more comfortable ride. My Rubicon has KO2's and are C rated from the factory.

That is not S rating, it’s the standard or “SL” rating for P (passenger) tires.
E and C rating are for LT (light truck) tires. With that said, Saharas come stock with “P”-metric SL tires.
In terms of weight and sidewall thickness from soft to stiff SL<C<E

SL and C is the way to go if you aren’t off-roading. Definitely C if you are. Only get E if you have no other choice or do hardcore hauling/off-roading.

Personally I would go with the C rated tire. Tougher than the P metric yet not stiff/harsh like and E.

I have had both in the 275/65/18 on my JK and I would go with the non LT, or SL as it says on GY. They ride much better than the C which are essentially made for larger trucks. The only difference is the amount of ply in the side wall, I think one is 8 and the non LT is 6.

That said, even know they are the same size they are not the same size. The non LT runs slightly smaller in actuality. Unfortunately I believe that is the largest tire they make in a non LT tire so if the if the size difference bothers you, you are stuck going with an LT.
