Guys, I ordered and received something from Amazon that I believe is worth sharing for those of us living in freezing rain climate.
Iām very impressed with the fit and coverage of this windshield protective tarp/blanket. Best part is itās under $20
As pictures show, it covers not only the windshield, but wipers and cowl vent which we know how bad the wiper base and center vent pack solid with ice.
Theres a cushion at the tip of the ears that go inside the cab to prevent to be blown out by the wind, the side straps are perfectly located to go around the mirrors without stretching too much and weaken the elastic with time (I believe but time will tell)and the long straps have a hook at the end to attach to the wheels, but I prefer attaching to the rock rails.
Hereās the Amazon.ca link to it
Car Windshield Snow Cover... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B099WQJXSG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I chose the ''Standard'' size.
Cheers.
