After BFG KM2s on my past two Jeeps, I went with Mickey Thompsons this time. KM3s seemed to be on perpetual pandemic backorder and the MTs were a nice lighter choice - on paper. Discount Tire has them at 65lbs for 35s versus 68lbs for my previous KM2s. The newer KM3s are listed at 75lbs. In reality the MTs were 3.5 lbs heavier than the (15,000 miles on them) KM2s. So the "add lightness" strategy took a hit, but I like them. I can cruise at 80mph MUCH more smoothly than the BFGs. [The KM2s were fillings shakers.] I was surprised at the ride given the MT's aggressive tread.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Nice!
Hard to beat Mickeys, some of them might weigh more, they almost always cost more, but they rarely get outperformed, and last longer than most any tire w/ a similar tread.
