Well - I'm supposed to be working on other stuff and of course I'm procrastinating and ran across this on YouTube:

Looks like a row of hidden fuses - keep this part in mind if you ever find yourself in this situation.
I tested all those fuses.:)

Well shoot. I'm once again all out of ideas. This is going to drive me crazy...
I’m all messed up with it too. Was gonna go over the wiring diagrams for the PCM. I have a suspicion that the pcm failed or the BCM. I’m still trying to
figure out how the two intertwine together power wise. Still bummed that I didn’t have my meter with me.

I don’t have a good understanding of all this but I saw a thread where a couple people replaced a canbus board behind the glove box.. not exactly a trail repair.

Did a damage assessment and finally taped off the rocker panels so I could paint the pinch seams😂
Holcomb creek was no joke! But no damage besides skid plates/sliders, and Nomad rash rings.

Your on the money. A good buddy of mine is a certified Mercedes mechanic and after talking with him about what we did on the trial he came up with most likely something like that would 90% be the canbus. I have read about the canbus main connector in the glove box problem. But completely forgot about it. But I agree not the best spot to be working on a canbus system

I’ve read about people stealing Jeeps from there, but didn’t know that was a failure point😵💫. I’m just going to tow a vehicle behind me for spare parts on the trail😂

This trip made me realize I suck at taking trail pics/video. I had almost no pictures of anybody or anything useful🥴
I told my two buddies that came with me to take pictures. Both of them failed as bad as I did lol. I will try to be better when I hit John Bull in the near future.
