Don't get too carried away with the gold accents. Could end up looking like it just rolled out of Cesars Palace.
I hear you. I am not about that look but if you see the 392 plaque on the back, it's a nice color. Goes really well against the blue, but honestly it might be too much trouble for what its worth.

Go with your gut (the juice isn't worth the squeeze).

Haha! That's why I asked. An idea comes, run it a by a few people and then say nah... not worth my time :)

Hello, I am wondering if there is a practical method to get the aluminum door sills from silver to gold to match my 392 accents colors. Is this possible or am I crazy for wanting to do this?
just saw these on Instagram

Yeah not quite factory looking for me either. I was just thinking about making the aluminum door sills like the plaque on the back.

Would be a pretty cheap experiment and if you don't like the way it turned out no biggie.

I wish there was like a clear spray that had just a shiny metallic look, just keep it looking slightly gold nothing too harsh.

Yes..you'd need something like a light bronze

Yeah that’s more the color I’m going for anyways if you look at the stitching on the 392 seat embroidery it’s closer to a bronze and that would be cool to have rather than gold.

I think I will still try to find a way to make them the color of the trunk plaque. They don’t look bad, but the silver really contrasts against the blue and the black rock sliders. Nothing I can’t live with for awhile, but once I get really bored, I’m gonna tear them out and find a way to make them bronze/gold.

Have them hard anodized in gold. We have a local shop nearby. My best friends father owned, opened and ran this shop for almost 40 years before he sold it. They do good work. Bring your Jeep in and have them color match the trim.
