I was thinking about lining the glove box with some felt or thin carpet material. Has anyone done this? Suggestions?
Also putting in a simple organizer like this: https://www.ebay.com/i/303276770451?ul_noapp=true

I have them for the center console and like them even more than I thought I would. I imagine this might be the same!

I really like the center console organizer also and what a bargain at about $10. I think the glove box would look much nicer along keeping items from rattling around with some type of lining. Going to make this a project goal for the next 2 weeks.

DUUUUDE!! It's -12 outside right now, so drilling a hole was a good start for today. LOL I'll drill it out bigger later and maybe aim for a cut similar to the console @Focker is using. I completely forgot about that little light. None of my other vehicles had one so I had completely forgotten it was there (and you can't really see it in the daylight, so I must have not noticed it when I installed the console insert thingy). Brilliant!!

Glad I could be helpful :D

Now I will work on putting some lining in the glove box and post it up here if it comes out nicely.
