As a way of saying Thank You we are starting a new JL Wrangler Forum tradition... each Month we will giveaway one product for the JL Wrangler. It could be a full suspension system, a set of shocks, skid plates, Overland fenders, center seat support, whatever... each month it will be different.
I am impatiently waiting for a 2019 Rubicon 4 door to show up. Due on on December 6th at 4:51:41 (yep, that's right, they are estimating arrival down to the second!). My 2016 Rubicon HR is in bad need of new ball joints, steering stabilizer, tires, cleaning, etc...seemed easier to start over.
Already bought new wheels and tires, they are waiting just as impatiently as I am, I'm even considering putting them on the 2016 until the trade happens!
Last two Rubicons had BDS and then Mopar lifts but I've been doing a lot of research on the MetalCloak. It is those exact control arms that got my attention. New tires are only 35" as I spend too much time on the highway looking for new trails to drag around all the extra weight so I'm thinking a 2" lift is more than enough but man, I'd love to have those control arms! Everything I've read or heard from others jeepers has been outstanding!
My wife saw me looking at them and quickly shut me down knowing that a new jeep is going to cost her for the next couple years. Without your help I'll be running stock control arms. Come on, help a brother out!!!
The lift kit I have been looking at does not include control arms. This would be the icing on the cake. I mean who wouldn’t want control arms that are kevlar!
I ordered my 2019 JL Rubicon and hoping it’ll be here in the next 2-3 weeks. I’d love to have a lift to throw on the jeep as soon as I get it. 37s and beadlocks would be all I need to add.
Last April my 2003 Jeep TJ was stolen from me. It was a standard Wrangler X with an automatic trans, 3.73 gears, half doors, silver with a black soft top. Slowly over the years I added Rubicon wheels with 265/75R16 Goodyear MT's, a 2"BB, Rancho shocks, Detroit True Trac up front, winch, and a smitty built rear bumper. I don't offroad very much due to my location and the opportunities that exist. However when I did, my Jeep would go anywhere a built LJ Rubicon could.
How not better to replace my stolen TJ with a new 2018 Wrangler JL. I want to use the same concept and show how small modifications can make a Sport JL just as trail worthy as a tricked out Rubicon for much less cost.
I would be very grateful to be a winner!!!
I would like to win this give away because I’m poor and I couldn’t afford a Rubicon like all these nice Rubicon owners. So I would like to make my Jeep somewhat competitive to all these Rubicons. I have a opal 2” lift and I think the MC arms would compliment it well. Since I don’t have a sway bar disconnect like all the rich rubicon owners on here, I think the arms would help my jeeps lack of the disconnect. Once I install the MC arms lll be able to go on the trail and keep up with all the Rubicons out there.
