I just picked up this JLU on Saturday.... late Christmas, early birthday! I'm so happy to not be Jeepless... it was almost a year since I sold my JKU.
This will be my third Wrangler and seventh Jeep vehicle in my lifetime. My first Wrangler was a 1994 that I bought when I was stationed in SW Arizona with the Marine Corps and it didn't have air conditioning. I toughed out the long summers and had an awesome time with it, and installed a Dick Cepek (remember them? Yeah I'm old) lift on it in my in-laws driveway (pics below). I've done that one DC, as well as Rancho and Old Man Emu lifts in the past, and I'm ready to try something new.
I've heard nothing but good about MC and as much as it's only been a year without a Jeep in my driveway it seems like a lifetime and I have a ton of catching up to do on researching aftermarket parts for it.
Yeah, it's not a Rubicon but I've done some forest and mining trails that a stock Jeep wasn't quite up to muster on and a little more suspension never hurt anyone...
