Getting the MetalCloak Gamechanger lift installed

I went with EVO relo brackets because I didn’t want to give up the extra 1-1/2” up travel. They also give some protection.

The MC bracket protects the front. Going to do FAD, front and rear control arms, and diffs. Have the rough country engine, transfer case skids. Wish I would’ve done gas tank cause you can’t buy just the gas tank skid after the fact. Live and learn.

How do they get in the way of the FAD skid? Can you send a pic?

Here are a few pics. You can see where I had to clearance the FAD skid. Rockhard makes a FAD skid too, I would recommend that if you are going with their control arm skids.

I have MC lift and all 4 RockHard shock skids. They are compatible with RockHard FAD skid. It’s a tight fit but they work together without any modification.

Do you have the MC relocation shock relocation brackets? Can you send a pic of how the skids mount to that?

The skids protect the LCA. They don’t interfere with the shock mounting point, with or without the relocation brackets.

Just got our Jeep back from All Seasons 4x4 in Broomfield, CO. Man it looks incredible. For some reason, the 37s look bigger to me. The wheels are just perfect for the Sarge Green color..

I'm pretty sure we'll need to get some steps next. Gotta find a deal from Rockslide Engineering.

Props to @Metalcloak for getting the lift to us in under 3 weeks. Most places have a much longer turn around.

Looks awesome. The 37’s look really good. I need to upgrade from my 35’s, but have to rebuild the wallet after the lift with 2.5 Fix shocks.

Just dropped my Jeep off to get my 3.5 Gamechanger lift installed.

What was your actual height increase? I have read the 2.5" MC GC nets around 4". Curious to know what the 3.5" actual height is.

Even though it's an old thread, but my wife's JLUR with a MC3.5 and 37" KM3's is about 7" higher before bumpers/winch and spare tire carrier were installed.

I had the same question so I messaged Poly Performance (where I got my engine and t case skids) on Facebook. They told me I could get the gas tank by itself!

Jellis4148 where did you find a bolt that would work with the FOX ATS stabilizer and your Metal Cloak Billet attachment? I also have the MC Billet and just bought the FOX ATS, I cannot find a bolt that works anywhere. Thanks for your help!
