Picked up from Gupton 10/9 (was delivered to dealer 9/23)
FINALLY home 10/12

Got ducked 2nd day of ownership by the Ocean Blue Wrangler here:
The hinges look funny because I put some (what I *thought* was BRIGHT green, but turned out to not be bright-enough green) vinyl on them to protect them for the drive home.
Rolling in to Colorado - can't get much more colorful, eh?
First time to Pike's Peak:
Removed freedom panels for the drive up:

These are 285/70R17 Toyo open Country III on the stock Moab Wheels that came with the Willis. A perfect fit and a lot more comfortable. Its like riding on a cloud and Less noisy than those Firestone Discovery...245/75R17...
Had to change because here in Canada we need the snowflake mountain homologation...

main differences I see is that I got the painted fender flares and the steel bumpers front and back.
Nice to know there’s another Gecko Diesel out there!

Holy crap I hope mine doesn't take that long to get! I have a gecko diesel ordered as well. Ordered 9/7. Full gecko with gecko fenders and hard top and some other stuff. Looks great!

I came up with these possible variations on the gecko color options when ordering a new JL, assuming the only options are body color or black top, body color or black fenders, body color or black grill. Interesting that after going through all 69 pages on this thread(whew!), no one has posted my particular combination (the last one in the compilation). Well, I guess I feel special.
