Been getting about 19.5 that's 65 miles a day mostly highway, and I try to keep it @65mph.

Oh please, people have been offroading hardcore with a lot less HP over the years. Nearly 300 HP is more than powerful enough for all of those needs in a vehicle as light as the JL.
You obviously don’t understand the concept. Sure you can go out there with less, but you can also benefit from more torque for off-roading, and more HP for other activities including just overcoming rolling & wind resistance efficiently at highways speed which would help your MPG argument.

Many of those lower HP/tq options, also weighed less especially vs the Rubi Unlimited.

Again, it’s about more than 0-60, so trying to reduce it to just that is ignorant.

Does the mileage vary between fuel grades??and what do you recommend.
Is there a difference in mileage between Rubicon and Sahara keeping in mind Rubcon has lower gear ratios?
Feedback appreciated.

Almost to 21 mpg. JLUR. I keep at 65 and milk the throttle! That is better than my JKU!

I've noticed on my JLUR 35-45 is the sweet spot for city and 55-65 for hwy to squeeze out the most mpg's.

I've got 1500 miles on my Rubicon and yet to break the 20 mpg mark. In fact, have not even hit trhe 19mpg mark yet. Driven mostly country roads and very gingerly for the break in period. I do not foresee mine ever breaking 20 unless I have a lo g all highway trip. Maybe this summer when I go to the beach. Of course, I will probably have the top off by then which my effect mpg as well.

After my oil change (1200 miles) and with more miles it's only gets better.

Just completed a road trip that was 500 miles. All highway and the outcome was 18.2 miles per gallon. I left with almost 500 miles on the speedometer and now I am over 1000 with only 2 weeks of owning it.

Well...I'm not doing near as good as some of you...lol If I keep it down to 65 I get 17-18. I drove from here to El Paso and back yesterday (105 miles each way) and at 80, with wind, I'm getting about 15.5 mpg. Now, that's also with the 315/70 STT Pros on there, so it was expected. Overall, I'm not displeased...if I want the mpg, I'll have to slow down (NOT!). Good news from that El Paso trip (Ft. Bliss specifically) I returned with a very nice Ruger Precision Rifle and a Savage 11 Trophy Hunter...both in 6.5 Creedmoor...I'm happy...lol

Rubicon w/ auto transmission getting about 17.5 right now. Mixed city/highway. Still in break-in period so not exceeding 60/65 mph.
