I've only filled up twice so far.

First tank was 28mpg with stock tires and 80% freeway driving @75 mph.

Second tank was 26mpg after I put 285/70's on along with only 60% freeway driving and 2 trips to the mountains (about 5k ft of elevation gain)

Going on a trip from socal to outside of denver next month and that will be the real test.

2018 JLUR Sport S, Just took a trip to the northwoods had 23 mph on the road. Pulling a boat on its trailer all week I got 20/21.

We don't buy a jeep for the gas mileage.

I am pleased to say that my mileage has improved over the few months of driving the new Jeep. If I drive like a normal person than it is really great . Wrangler is a heavy vehicle and so aggresive driving habits will be reflected in much higher fuel consumption that let's say if you abuse your mama's civic.

No, but it's nice to average in the 20's rather than the teens.

At my best numbers, I'm looking at a 50% increase in fuel efficiency over a JK's average. I have to work those hills and pray for no traffic to manage that though.

Life time average on my JLUS is 11.7l/100km currently. That’s about 20.1 MPG. No serious modifications that add to weight, other than larger tires so far. I’m aiming to have as much armour, etc. aluminum as possible. Headwinds really kill my range, but I’ve also managed one trip at 8.9l/100km.

Wife's 2020 2.0L Recon was initially getting 20 mpg, which is around 3 mpg better than her old 3.6L 2013 JK. Now that it has a few thousand miles on it she got 22.3 mpg on her last fill-up. That's over 5 mpg better than her old JK. Used as a daily driver to work, about 50 miles RT, with around half of that highway miles.

I’m at 13K miles. If I try, I get about 18-19 mpg...maybe 20 if I’m on the hwy.

I was getting 21-22mpg on my 2-door Sport with stock tires.

I upgraded to 295/70r17s and I'm getting 17-19mpg... But I really haven't been driving much lately while working from home. I'll need to try out my old commute of 60 miles round-trip at mostly 70mph highway to see what it really is.

6th gear is just there for ornamental purposes now on my manual transmission.

After a year you can see what my average MPG is in my signature line. That is with tires bumped up one size to 255/75-17. That also includes pretty regular off road use and towing a small travel trailer, which obviously has a negative effect on mileage.

My 08 JKU was averaging 16 mpg when I retired it. That includes after the 5.3 LS engine conversion.

I hate that im only getting 15.5 in town and highway mixed, still mostly highway. I don't have a heavy foot either. I have 35s and I have done an oil catch can as well as the RIPP coil packs. I honestly don't feel the RIPP coil packs did anything and the install was a pain in the ass. I don't think I would recommend it.

3 months old, just rolled over 4k miles. daily commute is 35 miles each way, 20/80 city/highway. usually drive around 70-75 MPH and get around 16+ MPG (started getting better after engine hit 3500 miles).

went for long drive this weekend and really watched the speed. pretty much never went over 60 MPH, and only got on it for getting up to speed and hills. after refilling my milage was 21.8 MPG. so i guess the sticker 18/22 (V6) isn't far off.
