No such luck with mine
Same. My computer is usually about 10% too optimistic. Adds up to about an extra 1L/100km vs reality. Not major, but still worth being aware of.

Before any mods with my 4 dr Sahara I was seeing 25 on avg but after lifting, 35’s and steel bumper & winch it’s dropped to 18 but I never bought it cause it was cheap on gas.

My DD is a ‘20 Sahara 2.0 T on 35s.
3.45 gears.

Running 89 oct gas which 95%+ of the time comes from a shell station.

Setting between 33-35k miles.

A good piece of my driving is on State Highways where 50 - 55 is often top speed. Probably 1/4 - 1/3 of my total Milage is interstate travel 70 - 75 MPH.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, average for total milage (since new) I reached 27.5 mpg.

I typically set around 23 and 25 using spring - summer - fall mix. Winter mix I drop to around 18 -20.
Update: 274 miles on 93, filled up about 14 gallons, I averaged about 19mpg for 120ish miles on the highway and then the rest city driving.

Didn’t try too hard to keep the average up, pretty content with it. Gonna try a little harder this time and not cruise on the highway going 75-80 but hang with the trucks and see what happens.

I just turned in my 2020 Silverado lease early to buy a jeep. It was a extended cab 4x4 with the 2.7t turbo 4 cylinder. I was getting 23-24 mpg constantly while others struggled to get 19-21 from theirs. The 5 things I did to see better fuel mileage was keeping unessential stuff out of the truck, using the same gas from the same brand, easing the gas at takeoff, keeping rpms as close to 1500 in any gear and speed as possible, and always use my cruise control where ever possible. I can assume the Jeep will be very much the same, and I will get better than EPA numbers after I get used to how it drives.

Did you have the ecm recalibrated for the tire size change?

Yes sir I reset my tire size using JSCAN and then checked it recently with the Speedbox app I use and it was slightly off due to tire wear so I went back in and made another adjustment and it spot on from 75mph and down and I even reset the TCM to force a relearn on the tranny module and then took it on the road thru all the gears.

I do feel after a few hundred miles I do see 8th gear more but still not close to stock but then my Jeeps not stock anymore and just the rolling mass of the 35’s along with steel bumper and winch more than likely have added a fair amount of weight over the stock setup and currently my Hwy miles average 19-20 and in town 17-18

I picked up a new JLUR 2.0 on Saturday in TN and drove back to IL. I was 90+% highway at 70-75 mph with a few slow downs here and there and a couple bathroom breaks. About 450 miles total, averaged 21.5 per the computer. It was over 22 mpg early on but once I got north of Louisville and out in the open the cross winds brought me down a little. Not bad.

When I bought my 2020 Silverado 2.7t last year I got 22mpg right out of the box. With 10k on it, I was getting 24mpg. With my driving habits of using cruise control everywhere possible, using the same gas, easing into the gas at takeoff, and keeping the rpms at near 1500 at any speed or gear while cruising. It had similar gearing, and weighed 400-500 lbs more than the JL, So I think with driving habits, 24mpg is possible with the JL.

I previously had a 2020 JL 4-door UL Sport 2.0. It had the smaller wheels and tires on it. I hand calculated 8 tanks of fuel at 24.4 MPG averaged.
With my 2020 JLUR with a 2.0, it has bigger tires, wheels, geared lower and weighs more. So far I've hand calculated 5 tanks of fuel at 22.6 averaged. I'll need several more tanks to hand calculate to give me a good general average.
If I stay around 22 MPG, I'll be happy.

Just did a round trip from Denver to Eagle. Trip computer said 28.7 MPG, which I think is amazing for this type of vehicle. I know my "real" MPG is about 7% lower, but still....

MAN nice job. I thought I was doin good with 24-26 mpg around town. I was expecting maybe 20. I'm retired and really enjoy driving my Jeep (2020 Sport), so I'm rarely in a hurry. Pretty light on the gas peddle, but not opposed to 70-75 mph when do-able on the thruway. I'm gonna work on getting my mpg up there, thanks for setting a goal.
