Those of you with lifts, 2.5 and up with 37s. Any garage clearance issues for a standard house garage? I am looking at gamechanger, rock krawler x factor or clayton overland plus.
I have a 2018 home built by CalAtlantic with a 2-car garage. The garage clearance measures a little over 82", and my Jeep measures around 77", giving it over 5" of clearance. My Jeep Rubicon has the Mopar lift (added about 2.5", and 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers). It would seem I could (barely) get away with a 4" lift and 40" tires.
On RK 3:5 with 37s and with my hardtop on it was 78” to highest point. With the ragtop on it’s a couple inches higher due to the bows.
Most garage doors are 84” so you should be fine. Also my nittos aren’t true 37, they measure 35-3/4” on the Jeep aired to 30 psi. So keep that in mind as well. But I think you’ll fit, as long as you have a 7’ garage door.
I'm at about 80", with the 3.5" Gamechanger and 38's. I've been in a few parking garages marked 7' without issue, besides the antenna hitting every concrete header.
Bump for this thread. I have a JLU Rubicon that I'm about to add a 3.5" Rancho Crawler and 1/2" Teraflex spacers with Nitto Trail Grappler 37's to At stock height, I have 6.5" inches of clearance. What do y'all think? Will it fit? I decided to add the spacers to compensate for additional weight of new bumpers, 37" spare, and winch.
Anyone else have stats and measurements to post up?
