Just traveled 1200 highway miles on my 2018 Wrangler JL Sport (2DR). V6
All stock except for 285/70R17's on 17x9" wheels.
Averaged 17 MPG at 70mph.

At 400 miles why exhaust started to rattle/vibrate. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, every now and then on engine start-up it sounds like the starter is hitting the flexplate and skipping a tooth.
Anything similar?

Exhaust rattle could be bad muffler. I remember reading the internal baffles came loose and started to rattle on someone’s JL.

I would think you should have gotten much better mileage. Wind or uphill terrain may be a culprit. A bad muffler shouldn’t affect mileage. Good luck at the dealer on your issues :like:
