Getting ready to order 60/80 axles for the JLURD.
Anyone have experience with Fusion4x4?
Had a few people I trust go through them with success.

I’ve read and searched a lot. The only complaints Ive read are cosmetic.
I really like the Kingpin setup over ball joints.

Kingpins are great if you remove all the stock parts and run brass kingpin bushings. The stock plastic bushings and springs are stupid and shouldn't be run with 40's.

Thinking that is what Fusion does.

Their high steer arms on the knuckle are adjustable for preload . I'm not sure what they're putting in there but it would be worth asking. The plastic will split in short order under abuse. The bronze pieces will outlast everything else when maintained. The fine adjustment is really nice to give you the feel you want on road.

I’ll be asking lots of questions next week. Fusion only advertises the Reid bronze bushing in there parts section.

That's what I ran on my last set of Kingpin axles. That's the right way to go. 😎

Okay thanks, that’s pretty much what I’m looking at too (5.38’s though).
Have you had any confirmation on the kingpin bushings from them?

Yes I did inquire about the Kingpin set up. To be totally honest I don’t remember everything that was talked about. I probably have an hours worth a phone conversations with Dan at Fusion4x4, plus 30 emails back and forth getting everything right. Everything so far has been 1st class with Dan/Fusion4x4. Communication is excellent.

I do remember they do not use the Reid setup unless ordered as an option. I was told that their standard kingpin set up is not having any troubles with 42” stickies.

I went with the standard kingpin setup. Once I get it I will verify.

Yeah that’s great to hear. Dan is absolutely a stand up guy and it’s been a pleasure working with him so far. Like you I have over 50 emails and a few hours at least on the phone with him 👍

I have a set in process as well now(kingpin super60 and big tube 80, elockers and 5.38s)
