Hello,

I installed a Genesis OffRoad Dual Battery kit in my Jeep. I want to put a fused distribution block in the back of the Jeep instead of running wires for everything I need to power in the back. I want to run an ARB twin compressor and a National Luna 52L Fridge for starter. These will be my main power consumers.

What gauge wire should I run from the front of the Jeep to the back?
Do I need to run a ground from the battery as well or just a power wire?
Any suggestions on a fused distribution block?

Any suggestions? I am not the greatest with wiring so any advice to get me where I want to go would be appreciated.

The attached file will provide an idea of what gauge you need to run based on the total amperage draw of all your connected devices and the length of the wire.

I would also make sure the distribution block you plan to use can handle the amperage required. While that product has a maximum rating of 100 amps, I'm pretty certain each circuit can only handle 30 amps maximum.

Hope this helps.
