Could look into the aluminum skids to keep weight down if that is a focus and only light off-roading. ASFIR and M.O.R.E both do aluminum for that motor.

I like the rear delete, but I am always concerned when off-road if I had deleted and needed it I would regret it. Can't plug a slash in the sidewall. May want to check out Vector Off Road UFO kit to fill the holes in the rear from hardware/bumpstops. https://vectoroffroad.com/collections/jl-wrangler-products/products/ufo-jl-rear-tailgate-delete-set

Looks great!
Thanks for the info. I will look into that.

I wonder if a 37” tire fits in the trunk area and can be secured when you have the subwoofer.

I really like the Rock Hard 4x4 full skid plates for the 3.6L eTorque (comes in aluminum or steel), but I want to use it on a 3.6L non-eTorque. Not sure if I can. Can I?

See below. Everything is covered. Can just slide on a rock all the way through.

Rock Hard 4x4 skids for 3.6L eTorque:
Jeep Wrangler JL FunWagon - 37” tires, 3.5” lift, half doors, manual AED85181-10BE-4B28-ACF4-E59CA851497B

Rock Hard 4x4 skids for 3.6L NON-eTorque:
Jeep Wrangler JL FunWagon - 37” tires, 3.5” lift, half doors, manual 4AB769A6-5C49-47F2-9B85-5CE37840D77C

What most other skid plate systems look like. See below. I marked in yellow the exposed areas. I know these things are designed to protect the essential expensive parts. But just on the second day of owning a brand new JL I but a dent in the exhaust pipe up front. When I looked under for the first time, I was shocked how much the exhaust pipes are exposed throughout on the JL compared to the JK and how much they bend all over the place and hang low. With something like this wouldn’t you drag on a rock on the skids until they end and then pow drop on something and break it?

@ROCK HARD 4X4

Since the skids are so close to the front control arms and front drive shaft on the Rock Hard, I wonder if they work on a big lift 3.5”+, like my Clayton 3.5” with Adams drive shafts and longer shocks/springs.
