Full Length and Half length racks with freedom panels and top lift

I am doing some research for a new roof rack. I like the functionality of having a full length rack but I want the flexibility of a half rack, especially with regards to the freedom panels. I don't want to drill through my hard top and with the 4xe my options are basically limited to a gutter mount. Does anyone make a rack that can be extended to swap between the lengths?

Also how would a full length rack work with a Top Lift pro, wouldn't it through off the balance of that type of lift?

They are spendy but I'm leaning towards the Expedition One.
