Front Marker/Turn Signal LED Capsules

So I've noticed quite a few JL's around here with some form of LED marker/turn signal light. I have LED tails, LED headlights and LED fogs but it appears my front marker/signal capsule are halogen. The white light marker might be some form of DRL? I'd rather have LED functions in that capsule.

Was the LED capsule an option (I have a Willys) and available as a MOPAR part? Or are they aftermarket?

Are you talking about the small side marker lights on the outside corner of each fender, or the parking/turn signal lights on the front of each fender?

If the first, those are already LED.

If the second, the LED parking/turn signal lights are standard on the Rubicon. They do not fit on Sport or Sport S models without replacing the fenders with Rubicon fenders.

Rats....Well, I've been thinking about installing JLUR fenders so that's another plus for buying them.

I don’t recall if the Willys has the 2 bulb setup or not. If it does, you can go with these:

Just checked out the Oracle bulbs as I have a single bulb facing forward and small marker bulbs on the side of the capsule.

Oracle says to confirm if your stock bulb is a 7743-CK bulb base. The older 7743 bulb base is not compatible. I'll go check out a bulb spec website I use to see if the 2021 specs are posted.

That’s the correct bulb for your vehicle. I have them in mine.

Sahara and Rubicon can be had with halogen or LED turn signals; Sport and Willys with halogen only.

Sahara/Rubicon turn signals, LED or halogen, won’t fit Sport/Willys fenders. For some obscure reason, FCA uses different turn signals on Sport/Willys, and didn’t bother making an LED upgrade.

Yeah, I don’t get it either. Seems like completely meaningless, unnecessary complexity to me.
