Should I put the Black Satin Grill on or leave it stock?

I'm on the fence too (though mine is a Sport S).

For now, I am doing functional mods before cosmetic ones so that keeps pushing my decision out. I do like the look of the black satin grill on Sting-Gray. The good thing about buying that grill is you can keep your old one and switch back any time if you get tired of black.

I like it. A two tone color scheme adds a bit of character. That looks like a Gladiator grille, so increased airflow would be a big bonus.

If you're just looking for the color, I suppose a vinyl wrap could do the trick, but that looks like an enormously annoying body panel to apply a wrap to. Buying a replacement grille would probably be easier.

I would leave the grill stock.
The color scheme is part of what makes it a Moab. I have billet silver.
Save your money for another accessory. But it looks good either way. Enjoy

Hey there fellow long islander! I too have been on the fence with putting that grille on my stingray jlur with black roof and fenders. Personally, i think the black grille blends into the two tone theme better when at least the fenders are also black. With all stingray, a black grille tends to look like a replacement panel awaiting paint.

To me its funny because back in the day the low end models would have a black grille and the higher end models would have painted or chrome.
People would pay $$ to have parts paint matched.

Its basically people just wanting whatever is different than what they have. If they came in satin black people would be striving to have paint matched grills.

I like black accents but i think it looks better how it is stock. The all satin black looks cheap to me, imho

Mopar must be laughing all the way to the bank selling plain black grills to people
