Hi all,

Just to satisfy my curiosity, is it normal for the inner front door panels to have a relatively significant gap between the window/seal and the panel itself? This is on both the passenger and driver side doors at the front and back of the panel, though attached pictures are of the passenger side.

This may well be normal, but not having any other JLs to compare to, I wanted to figure out whether this is normal, or if I need to have a go at tightening the panel to the door.

Thanks!

It's not "COMING AWAY" it's just a production gap !

No worries, cheers mate! If it took me this long to even notice, stands to reason that it wasn't /isn't a big deal.

The thing I noticed in mine is they pop out when you open the window

"SHAZAM"--now that isn't normal--

They don't fall off or anything, they just bump out a little further than when the windows are closed. I first noticed that on the driver's side, but the passenger door does it too.

There's probably some FOAM/PADDING in the window rail path--

It's notta safety problem, but should be corrected by your dealer--while your WARRANTY is still active--

Goog luck
