Posted this in General Forum when I saw another user with same problem, but wanted to pull it over to the "Issues" section since there is obviously more than one of us out there...

I have an issue with both front doors...after taking them off once or twice, when I put them back in, the bottom hinge doesn't go all the way in. This makes it so I can't install the lower bolt on my door. Not a huge deal, but certainly annoying and could lead to further issues if allowed to always run loose.

I can't see how anything would be adjusted since the hinges are not loose.

I've removed the doors twice, and they have sat in a door rack, so not hung on anything, so nothing is bent - and I find it odd that both doors have the same issue.

At a loss and thinking about turning problem over to the dealership...more curious at this point if anyone else with JL is seeing this?

Are any of you with issues using one of those foot pegs that slides into the bottom hinge? I seem to recall this issue popping up before, and that it was determined using a foot peg in the bottom hinge was a common theme.

Sure did... guess I need to get the hinge realigned.

Well, that would be a huge gap to fill with a plastic spacer. Not sure what’s causing it, but another thread people who used the mirrors that secure to the top hinge and then run down and secure to the bottom hinge that held a foot peg there, reported that the body side support twisted. I believe they had to loosen that up on the body door jamb, realign it, and then things fit back up.
