I don’t think this would have worked for me. Door retainer was pushed in too far to line up with the hole.Put the door on. Grab a hard top screw, it's same diameter as door check screw but longer. You can get it screwed in with door check in door. Screw it in a couple of turns then open the door. It will pull the check out. Remove screw and replace with proper door screw.
