I searched the web high and low and couldn't find one, so I made one... Thought it might be useful to someone else... Link is below for PDF of die-line, size is 21" wide by 33.8125" long, I did have it at 34" but needed to shave 3/16" off the top for a better fit.


I made a custom decal for my wife's hood, see photo. The blue is the "die line" or cut lines.

I'll post a pic after it's printed and installed.

Nice. How did you print it out and on what kind of vinyl?
How did you apply it?
Can you print it in sections?
Can you print it and use it to paint the area with a different color than the hood?

i’m having a friend of mine print it on a clear vehicle grade vinyl with a white undercoat. I haven’t applied it yet, but I will do it as a single piece, using a 32 ounce bottle of water with a few drops of Dawn dish detergent and a squeegee.
