I have been patiently been waiting for frame mounted sliders similar to Evo's that were available for the JK. Only interested in frame mounted,

So far the only options seems to be
Roam offroad (recently released)
LOD (signature and destroyer)
VKS FAB (No one has run this yet)

Are there any other that i missed?

In development / Vaporware
White knuckle offroad
EVO

I’m new to jeeps, and offroading in general, and am curious as to the benefit of frame mounted vs. non frame mounted. I’ve read that frame mounted our stronger than non frame mounted, but have also read that frame mounted pose a threat to bending your vehicle’s frame if they take a hard hit, which obviously isn’t a good thing.

Can you explain your reasoning for going strictly with frame mounted to a layman?

There are two types of mounting Frame or Body mounted

Frame - Either weld or bolt-in directly to the frame. (normally these will make you lose a little clearance but are usually the strongest)
Body - Bolts to pinch seam / body bushing / etc. Installs are easier with no drilling. Main issue is you are attaching to soft metal that bends.

Just a brief explanation. You can google frame vs body mounted sliders for more explanations

One more reason I like frame mounted sliders is the ability to use a jack to lift the car from them.
Lots of jeeps drive around with their high lift jack showing off but have no actual way of using it :giggle:
