@Northridge4x4 You wouldn't happen to have the collapsed/extended lengths for the front 3.5-4" front fox shocks would you?

What we have listed on our website is:
Front 3.5"-4" shocks, pn# 985-24-179: 28.40" ext. - 17.80" coll.

Rear 3.5"-4" shocks, pn# 985-24-180: 30.50" ext. - 18.90" coll.

I have an email into their tech dept to double check all our measurements. Definitely do not like making mistakes on tech info!

Thanks. Those 3.5-4" shocks fit the RK 2.5" x-factor specs better so I am leaning towards them.

How does that compare to the Falcon 2.1 shocks?

We haven't tried them yet, when we do, we'll post up here.

I will go out on a limb and say these are Fox shocks, they're going to be pretty awesome... ;)

So would these match up nicely to the RockKrawler 2.5" Adventure 3 lift?

From the Rock Krawler website-
Shock Notes:
Generic Front Shock Length – 17-18” Collapsed/ 29” Maximum Extended

Generic Rear Shock Length - 19-20” Collapsed/ 32” Maximum Extended

The closest Fox shocks look to be these:
985-24-179: Front 3.5-4" 28.40" ext. - 17.80" coll.

985-24-180: Rear 3.5-4" 30.50" ext. - 18.90" coll.

I hope they make some for non lifted at some point (i know, i know) I dont do extreme rock crawling but I would like a shock that does not die zipping down dirt/sand /desert roads

Fox shocks for your JL have arrived, so wanted to post up the cool pics here first!

Fox lists these as best with a 2-3" suspension lift (Boost/Spacer Kit or Coil lift, doesn't matter).

Front Fox Shocks pn# FOX985-24-177

Rear Fox Shocks pn# FOX985-24-178

Fronts:

Measured stroke for the fronts: 9-1/8"

Eye to eye fronts: 26-3/8":

Rears:

Measured stroke for the rears: 10-5/8"

Eye to eye rears: 29-1/2":

Then of course the craftsmanship and quality that you expect for FOX Shocks:

**Edited to correct measurements**
How are these different than the Fox shocks from the Mopar lift? Or are these the same?

Been on them for a few days with rock krawler 2.5 X factor. So far on the street they ride nice.

How do shocks ride compare to the stock shocks? Are they stiffer? Better handling? thx.

I have completely different suspension and tires now so the overall ride is different. So far on the road I don’t notice the little stuff as much as w stock shocks. They feel like they can handle the bigger tires no problem. No body roll and it corners well. I need to take it off road next.

Thanks for your review! I was going to get King shocks, but I think they are overkill for what I'm doing.
Those Fox shocks sound like the best upgrade for basic offroad duties.
