I'm guessing they work about like these: (although his were custom tuned by Accutune).

Yeah, I read that post. There were a couple of people that did it to stock Rubi’s but ended up going with bigger tires. I personally don’t want a lift and IF I did I considered the Dynatrac EnduroSport 2” one. But that’s a big IF.

I’m just interested in the stock guys going with different shocks.

I'm guessing you're not going to find many people willing to fork out that kind of money for shocks without a lift.

I just put these on with a 1.5” lift, have not had a chance to disconnect yet, but the on road performance is great, firm but smooth, I am loving it.

I might have missed it, but did you mention which 1.5" lift you went with? What's your tire size? Thinking about doing the same combo. Thanks!

Build:
Teraflex st1 spacer lift
Fox ifp performance shocks
Fox performance steering stabilizer
Rugged ridge Jesse spade 17” wheels in satin gunmetal
35x12.5r17 e ply Nitto ridge grappler tires
(Tire look great, are silent on road, but stiff - will air down a bit today to soften)
Tazer mini

one issue I am having is the spare is setting off the parksense feature, so I am getting beeping in reverse, my 4x4 shop want to dismount the spare rotate it and reinstall, they said this helps sometimes, will try it today (many guys have this issue running oversized tires)

Bummer! The shocks that I just received from Morris4x4 today still had the old style sleeves and not the new step washers. I emailed Fox and they will be sending them out. Any tips on getting the sleeves out and the new step washers into the shocks? Think a Socket and C-Clamp would work?

My order came yesterday from them with the new style sleeves. But I only got 3. LOL
The other shock will be here next week.

Did any of you need to get an alignment after just putting in new shocks?
No need to do an alignment just for replacing shocks, they in no way influence caster, camber, or toe.

Overall I’m satisfied. I’ll give a followup in about a couple of weeks
Thanks for the write up. I have fox shock ordered with a custom Tune through Accutune.

Im a little irritated I pulled my shocks out to have my suspension done this week and noticed my shocks are missing the crush sleeves/step washers dang it! I saw this thread months ago and thought I checked but I have only one correct shock.

So, just recieved a purchase of front and rear fox shocks 2.0 for my non lift 2018 JLUR.
so what I recieved was an August 2018 manufactured product.
I purposely waited to let the kinks get worked out before starting mods.
I am totally aware of the bottom mount bushing change.
So unbelievably disappointing.
This is actually the 2nd transaction for the purchase.
They had sent JK shocks.
so not only did I Originally recieve the wrong Item but the replacement was outdated product.
Not gonna name distributor.
But want to reach out to find an up to date jeep JL product outlet.
Thanks in advance.
