I just noticed four wire ends near the battery between the battery and the fender, could these be from the AUX switches? There is a little bundle of wire loomed up with them.

Awesome, just the right place for my upcoming winch relay and extra front lights. I was under the impression the wires were behind the glove box, this is better.

1-4 are under the hood. 5 and 6 are in a similar bundle under the glove box.

Very handy, don’t have to get into the harness, I hate altering a stock harness with a passion. Thank you

I'm thankful they have two places to wire the AUX switches as I use the both spots. I like the color chart... but I was color blind and wired my backup lights to always on.... opps. Friend of mine said "hey your backup lights are on while driving forward... felt so silly.

Any reason your using those for the winch and not just connecting it to the battery directly?

Some like the notion of not having the winch hot at all times.

Not quite 100% on this, but I think the warn power interupt kit gets used with the aux switch, so as to not have full amperage hanging directly on the aux circuit. Maybe someone will chime in to either confirm or to set me straight.:like:

Apologies, not quite understanding the question, if there was one.

i wired my winch to a relay at the battery so that the lead going from the battery to the winch is only engerizied when I want it to be, that way if there is ever an accident, there is no Hot battery lead out front to short out. And no way for azzhats to mess with the winch.

Exactly, I like the idea of one of my AUX switches energizing the winch through the Warn solenoid, No hot wire out front all the time.
Wyobob44, I see you have the dual battery setup, how do you like it? Install looks very clean. My initial impression looking under my hood is that no way two batteries could fit but it's clear they do!!

I like the Genesis Offroad dual battery kit, being able to install 2 850 cca batteries is very nice and , expensive, but you know the JEEP thing, Just Empty Every Pocket. nice costs, but on the other hand, i now have my own jump start built in if i ever need it plus with the Tazer winch mode, and these batteries, Odyssey 25 PC-1400 i feel there is plenty of electrical energy to winch my dumb ass out of most every brilliant moment
What i like the most is how clean the install is, and how clean it is to add any electrical components on to the Jeep..Genesis has excellent instructions and awesome customer service.
