Yep, thatās the problem. Those welds are not easily viewable. How is the quality of the other welds you canāt see? Who knows?None of those talk about the frame horns, which you cant see unless you disassemble parts of the vehicle.
It is what it is i guess.
What is the build date on your jeep?
I can't believe their poor quality control, even w/robotics now-a-days.
What's the date of manufacture of your JL?
I went to the stealership and they made an appointment for next friday to take pics and open up a complaint with fca to see if they would be covered under warranty. The service guy there did ask if i installed the new bumper yet or not. I said no and he said ok good, fca might void your warranty and not cover them if you installed an aftermarket bumper lol.Damn!
Ya, mine is 07/30.
You would think that by August of 2018, almost a full year of making the JL, that they would of had their line up and running w/o a hitch, especially when it comes to their robotics, but I guess not.
I'm afraid to see what my frame looks like when I remove my front plastic bumper.
You might check to see if they will at least fix the welds
Send a message to Jeep Cares.
I am sure they will assist you correctly.

Highonlyfe,Took it to stealership. Made appointment for next friday.
They said they will take pics and forward them to corporate and see if they will cover it under warranty.
Is this a known issue? I searched and all that came up was the track bar welds we all know about.
I have yet to see this issue with the front of the frame brought up unless i missed it.
