Found JL Sport Fender LED option

Can you please let us know how you configured the lights to DRL using JSCAN.

I didn’t make them DRLs. They’re only on when headlights are on.

My Aliexpress cheapo ones came in today after about a month of waiting.

Install was about the same for any of these fender lights. I have a BASE sport with no factory drl option so I wired them to my aftermarket Halos which are connected to fuse 57. ( Depinned the red wire in the harness and ran the wire to power source). They are on whenever the car is in the run position or the engine is running. Had to use JSCAN to stop flickering by setting them up as LEDs. Pictures below

Has anyone gotten the JSCAN settings to run these as DRL? I played for a bit and couldn't get it. Next step is to move the wires per an earlier post but hoping there is a software way of doing it!

Overall, super happy with these. Glad to be rid of the only halogen lights!

Messing with basically all of this and enabling the settings got my fender DRLs working(rugged ridge max terrain).


So if you tinker with:
Day time running lights present
DRL Config
Dedicated DRL present
Left and right dedicated drl present

should get it all working.

Under DRL config I used optional DRL. I dunno if I’m making this up, but I could have sworn there was also a way to use the amber ones as a DRL and have that option selected

Here are the specific settings I used with Jscan to program my mopar LED DRL lights on my 2018 JLU sport. Not sure if it helps, but these settings may allow non mopar led DRL to function as the mopar do.

When you take it into the dealership, do you leave the DRL/LED Fenders programmed?

Yes I do. If the dealership has to do a software update, it may reset all of the settings back to factory. If so, you will have to use the JScan and re-configure the settings for your LED lights.
