Be looking out at Ace engineering Facebook page and Instagram. They will be posting photos of their Sport S JLU tomorrow! Here is what they have posted so far. Nice to see what dash and seats I'll have looks like and they will possibly be answering questions. They posted the seat on the reply of they FB post after someone asked. That's the technology package by the way.

Update: They put it on 37s!

Is that the standard 5" or optional 7" infotainment system?

It appears to have the optional 7" gauge cluster display.

I would love to see detailed pics of the front axle to see how Jeep implemented the resurrection of the front axle disconnect system from the YJ.

I believe all JL’s will come with LED running(DRL) and turn signals but LED headlights only available through Mopar or aftermarket add on.

That's the optional upgrade. It's listed under "Technology Package" and I would love to see details on the front and rear. I wonder how strong are they compared to last year's sport models.

Okay thanks. I just looked up the features of the AAN tech package which includes both upgraded 7" displays but it's only available for the Sport S and not the base Sport. This Sport S also has cold weather package, heated seats and steering wheel.

I don't think so. These are part of the LED package AD6 which currently only shows optional on Sahara and Rubicon. Surprisingly all trims only include halogen lights standard. The only LEDs are in the interior.

Has D44 axle been confirmed as an option for the Sport? That really should be the deciding factor for anyone considering a Sport. I’d bet that in 2 years or so, Jeep will drop the D35 altogether just like they did with the JK, in favor of D44 rear

In two years, hopefully my rear will be D60. :giggle:

Where did you hear about an axle option on the Sport? I don't ever recall seeing it on the order/pricing threads.

Pretty sure I read it in a thread. Could be a false rumor. Would love for someone to clarify!

Also, I still have trouble believing Jeep is actually going to downgrade axles for their new Wrangler.. then again, they did downgrade a few other features for the sake of savings

You'd think it would be more cost effect to only have 2 display sizes instead of the 7".
So weird.

I found it on a dealer summary sheet. It does list D44 rear axle with limited slip diff as optional on Sport but I can't find an option code for it. There is a code for the limited slip diff in the order sheet. Anti-spin diff DSA which also requires all terrain tire upgrade. It doesn't mention an upgraded axle. Guess we have to wait on Jeep for details. What's the point of only upgrading the rear axle on a 4WD rig?

I believe the d44 option is added if you add in a limited slip.
