I have the JL Backbone cargo security for my JLU, which i love (easy installation, easy removal, good finish, etc) but it is so dark back there. I wanted to add lighting there but not hard wired in as I remove the cover to haul some stuff occasionally and didn't want wires dangling. So I bought some cheap stuff on amazon and installed it in about 10 minutes. Plugs in rear 12 outlet and has a switch there. Lights mount on the frontmost panel (sometimes I only remove the rear panel for hauling). They are blocked by the bar of aluminum that connects the two panels so won't shine in my face. When I remove the whole backbone, I just unplug the 12 adapter. Easy. Here it is at night. then looking from below so you can see the lights, then the switch/plug. Should work for Tuffy or Slipstream also. Lights came with self stick attachment.
