hey my guy, i made the same thing for less than $40...I found a take off grill from facbook, bought can of satin clear coat spray can and one krylon satin black + primer all in one spray can and red scotch pad. It came out pretty nice.

I actually pulled the red one off my Jeep and Plasti dipped it just to see if I liked it. It looks good enough to make me want to find a used black one. Ours crazy how expensive they are new!
