Even though we live only a few miles from the Hatteras ferry docks getting to Cedar Island takes to much time. It's like slow boats from China.

The ferry ride from Hatteras to Ocracoke is free and takes 1 hour and 15 minutes not including wait times. Then 15 miles driving to the Ocracoke dock. From Ocracoke to Cedar Island requires a fee (and reservation) and it's a 2 and a half hour ride not including wait time. We're talking an almost 4 hours for ferry rides alone plus fees and that's just one way for me.
Maybe we could meet out by Columbia on HWY 64 or going the other way possibly meet on Ocracoke Island but that is a far as I'm willing to go.

And from Charlotte that would still be a heck of a drive for you too. It's too bad, You want them and I want to sell them.
