Yes the shorter ones didn't work for me. I travel all over the southeast and no problems with this one.

The stock antenna would smack the windshield post ever now and again in heavy winds so it had to go.

I didn't mind the stock antenna size, but I hated the color. So I I used the same Plastic Dip on my antenna and it looks and works great. It's been a little more than a year now and I've only had to touch it up a bit once.

I have the 21” Rugged Ridge Reflex Stubby Antenna. Works great.

As most of you know my Jeep has been at the dealership since Dec 17th (awaiting (1) part from Dana) due to rear rotational knock.

Happy to report I’ll be getting this evening at 1700!!

Since it was in their possession I had them go ahead and install (even though I love doing that stuff) a brand new Rubicon Suspension and some Teraflex .5” Level Load Spacers front/rear. Got a hell of a deal including the dealership warranty on the parts (minus the spacers of course) and labor. $280 isn’t bad at all.

So, moral of the story very excited to get it back today if you couldn’t already tell HAHA
