I'd love to, but I've got too much family coming into town on the 27th to be able to sneak away!If we can put together a group I’m down. It would be me and possibly the wife or oldest son. I know a guy with a TJ that will likely go as well (possibly with his wife) as 2 people (a husband & wife combo) with JK’s that know the areas well that will go also. Trying to get some more JL’s out there participating.. That’s a good tentative date though. Probably would just do Ocala National Forest areas.
Anyone else down?
I want in on this too. Tentatively count me in. As of right now, I have nothing going on that day. I'd bring my wife and 2 sons.If we can put together a group I’m down. So your out at NAS! Im outta Camp Blanding and I may be interested in tagging along, whats the trails like in Ocala? It may be a great opportunity to take my grandsons along on a day trip. I would likely drive down to Winter Garden on the 27th and meet at Ocala on the 28th.10-4 they just came out with the holiday schedule for us here at NAS not too long ago and its something I've been meaning to ask on here. Your post just reminded me. I will end up going regardless but I would rather not go alone..
@Roky may be able to elaborate on the trails in Ocala. I have never been. From what I understand there is nothing there that a bone stock 4x4 couldn’t handle as there are bypasses for nearly every area.So your out at NAS! OK, well if you nail something down for the 28th please let me know.@Roky may be able to elaborate on the trails in Ocala. I have never been. From what I understand there is nothing there that a bone stock 4x4 couldn’t handle as there are bypasses for nearly every area.
10-4 will do manOK, well if you nail something down for the 28th please let me know.
We haven’t run Ocala yet, we have same type trails in our backyard, so been lazy about getting over there. But from what I’ve heard from others , you are correct about the bypasses. We might be able to meet there on 28th, and tag along for a while if you guys decide to do something then.@Roky may be able to elaborate on the trails in Ocala. I have never been. Yeah, it may happen. My only concern is that I have never been there. It would be silly for several people to drive from all over just to drive down what appear to be fire trails. That's the only thing holding me back at this point from actually going forward with meeting times and places and such. No doubt it would be fun to all get together as we have in the past but if the above mentioned is the case i'd much rather prefer a beach run/hang out. Unfortunately, the entire state of FL is this way with the exception of some super muddy areas where a trail goes from a (1) difficulty to a (6) difficulty overnight. We haven’t run Ocala yet, we have same type trails in our backyard, so been lazy about getting over there.
