I have that one mostly for looks. It's not as good as the OEM long one, but I don't use AM/FM much anyway.
G.
As good as the factory antenna. How is FM reception?
I have one. I couldn’t tell you how it works for regular AM or FM, because I only listen to SiriusXM or stream via Bluetooth or CarPlay.Anyone gone with the Rydonair antenna?
That is most definitely incorrect, unless you never leave the city. Long distance reception is severely reduced. As good as the factory antenna.
I have that exact 13" Rydonair and it works great. I've had it since last September. FM reception is great, I don't listen to AM. I am in central Florida so I don't know how challenging it is to get a radio signal, but like I said, it's great. No differences between my Jeep and my wife's car as far as reception. I went with this one and the 13" because I do use the radio and didn't want to lose reception. I'm very happy with mine.
I bought that one too and HATED it. Would bend back and whip against my pass side window at 70mph. Super annoying. Took it off and cut down the stock one then painted it black.I got this one, the 20" version, works great (much better then the short rubber one I had previously) and it's $14.50 shipped!
