FlashCal-JL should be avoided if you value your sanity.

This is just a heads up post.

I've been going back and forth with their customer service for the last two weeks trying to get them to tell me how to enable a feature which is advertised on the product page of their website (https://www.holley.com/products/tuners_and_programmers/handheld_tuners/parts/3571-JL).

All I want them to tell me how to do is enable Sway Bar Disconnect in 2HI. And they will not do it.

If I email them I'll get a reply a day or two later that says to call their customer service. So I have called them multiple times and not a single person I spoke to there even knew that the FlashCal-JL is made for Jeep Wranglers. One of the guys I spoke to told me flat out that Wranglers don't have sway bars and that is why that feature (which is advertised on their site) is not available on the device.

This has not been the first time interacting with their customer service. I, in fact, went through this exact same routine with them over disabling auto-start-stop. When I first bought the FlashCal-JL that too was an advertised feature. They have since stopped advertising it since the feature never worked at all.

Sorry to hear that. I know the tazer once figured out how to run thru the programming is pretty awesome. I just needed to change tire size and adjust for LED lights. Also drop lowest TPMS setting so can stop it from bitching when going off road. And allow sway bar disconnect in 4H up to 25MPH, have not tried 2H.
Maybe the agent thought you just wanted to remove your sway bars?

Superchips Flashcal+ for JL IS GARBAGE!
Send it back and demand refund. Waste of time & money. Unreliable to say the least!

I bought it on amazon and they won't take it back even though the seller was SuperChips.

This is an update:
Their customer service has started responding and pushed a few dedicated updates to my device. It now has the sway bar disconnect feature working.

But I noticed after one of the updates that my remote start stopped working. So we are going to tackle that next.

Did you ever get the issue with your remote start/stop resolved? I'm having similar issues unfortunately. TIA

do you have a case number I can look into on our end?
Nope. Not going there again. Your customer service model is not working for me. And I don't have time to do your guess work for you.
EDIT: You should have just offered me a refund and taken the device back. I would have left this discussion out of this forum. But you had to play hardball. So, here we are.

Still waiting for my tech response from September 2022 as well.

Gave up, used Taser.

That being said basic functions work. I like the fact they don't need the device to be plugged in and are permanent unlike Taser.

Next time I think I'll just get JSCAN, same as what some FCA JEEP guys use themselves.

Same experience here -- basic functions such as tire size and diff gear ratio work. Everything else is totally useless.
I too am moving to JSCAN.
