Has anyone noticed this? Flame Red available exterior color on 2019 JL Altitude

Quick search shows that Rubicon tow hooks are painted this color, but no talk of it being a body color.

Didn’t notice that, possible 2020 color? I wish the special editions came on 2 door....that altitude package is nice.

Hmm, I just looked and it says firecracker red. Maybe just a typo that someone caught quickly.

Just checked again and it still says Flame Red under Special Editions > Wrangler Altitude.

The main JL home page still displays Firecracker

While two different paint codes I don’t see why they would offer flame red, they are really close to each other

I don't see it. Sorry.

Edit: ok it's under a different section. Probably a typo since one section is FC red and another Flame. When you go to build it, it changes to FC red.

While I like my firecracker red, in certain light there is more orange than I’d prefer. I love the Flame red on my 09 JKUR.

No they are NOT... the FC red is more orange then the Flame Red. When you park them next to one another you can clearly see the difference between the two. If the Flame Red was available when we ordered our JL, odds are high we would have went that way again.
