Oh of course, its a small amount, but it helps squeeze just a little bit more use out of the battery charge.

I don't think any Hybrid owner is delusional enough to think they can have free energy, or shouldn't think that I would say.
What exactly are you stating my friend.

In English for all us dumb folks
How do you translate math to English?

Can you explain your thought further?

When going down a hill, you can use electric motors as a generator instead, and charge a battery. This is a fact, not conjecture.
Yes, I agree.....

But, in the same sense that you can light up a light bulb with a potato

No, actually in a pretty significant sense. Significant enough that car manufacturers decided it would be worth their while to capture it. Otherwise, why would they bother? Luckily, it's a pretty easy calculation to figure, and I can show you with numbers how much potential energy you could recover coming down a 1000ft road.

Where do you think the batteries are? In the Pacifica they’re under the 2nd row seats and eliminate the stow and go capacity. Could be issues under the Jeep Wrangler with ground clearance?

Probably the biggest unanswered question here.

Probably the biggest unanswered question here.
Lots of unanswered questions - how much weight? Where are the batteries? What is the range? What is the cost? How much torque?

Very interested in what these answers turn out to be.

They are probably removing the under-floor cargo cubby in the trunk, if I had to guess. That's where most PHEVs put them.

Please do...I'm always willing to learn.

Keeps me from becoming ignorant.

....plus the added weight of the battery('s).

JL is 100lbs lighter than JK(I think)

With the hybrid you can kiss those weight savings goodbye
