not gonna lie, when it first started off the trailer, my heart skipped a beat! that 392 roar is so much worth the price. you really feel there there is so much more power that is available to use. you will definitely enjoy it once you get yours.
Glad to hear that! It builds the excitement even more for me, which I didn’t think was possible. Please post more pics if you get a chance. I’m assuming you ordered your XR back in June?

I ordered mine on July 8th but was stuck in D. It was 808157 so I saw this sarge green one posted and got this. It was identical build with my preferred color. I was having second thoughts with sting Grey.
Tires stick out a bit, covered with extended flares and has a great stance. It looks so much different than regular JLUR.

Posted this in the FB group as well. Super stoked to get this one. Drive is so much better than my manual jlur.

I currently have a manual jl as my daily driver, and have a 392XR coming. The automatic trans is the only thing I'm bummed about. Never owned an automatic daily driver in my life.

I've been consoling myself by thinking that in an emergency, it might be a liability to have an adventure rig that requires two working legs and two working arms, and that others may not be able to drive.

How is it going to the 392? Do you use the paddle shifters, how are they?

I've been dreaming about one day adding a manual to the 392 from some other car/truck that has it stock.

Nice, this is the color I’m thinking about. Can you post a pic of the rims in the sunlight? Trying to see how bronze the 392XR rims actually are. Thanks!

My ideal jeep would have been 392 with manual but I knew it was never going to happen. I justified the automatic that it would be easier on trails and my wife could potentially use it (more like move it in the driveway) if needed.
Overall, super glad with the decision. No, I have not used the shifters yet. It only has 30 miles by the time I got it home so plenty of break-in to do.

The more Sarge I see the more I want to change my Sting Grey order.

Ha, my wife was happy when she learned that I finally "chose" an automatic wrangler that she can drive. Thankfully I still have an old manual TJ, that I now have the urge to dust off and fix up.

Precisely why I bought a manual TJ while waiting for the 392... always need to have a manual on the side.

Can you post a picture of the oil pan? It appears there are different oil pans being installed in some 392s and I'm wondering it it's what they are doing with new builds or with 392 XRs.

Has the information been released yet since now people have these in their hands regarding what secret things or features this 392XR package has?

Also, does anyone know who makes the shocks? Fox? Bilstein?

I agree, the 8speed auto was my only reservation about my order......
